COLING 2025, the 31st International Conference on Computational Linguistics, brought the language technology research community to Abu Dhabi from 19 to 24 January. The programme covered computational linguistics and natural language processing through research presentations and exchanges between academic and industry participants.
Alongside the main conference, the 2025 programme included an industry track, system demonstrations, keynote talks, workshops and tutorials. Oral and poster sessions gave researchers different ways to discuss their work, while Birds of a Feather meetings supported focused community conversations. The in-person conference was distinct from the separate virtual presentations scheduled for 27–28 January. Papers remain available through the conference proceedings.
