KHIPU 2025 took place in Santiago, Chile, from 10 to 14 March, supporting the development of artificial intelligence talent and research in Latin America. The gathering connected participants from the region with the wider international AI community through learning, research exchange and collaboration.
Its programme combined courses and practical tutorials with research sessions and poster presentations. Deep learning and reinforcement learning formed part of the technical learning agenda, while community activities created opportunities to meet potential collaborators. Women in AI mentoring was also included. The 2025 event involved local academic hosts in Santiago and formed part of KHIPU’s continuing effort to strengthen a connected Latin American AI research community.
